About OtakuPeople

This site exists because of a small, stupid, permanent problem: you finish an anime, you want more, and finding out where to go next takes twenty minutes of searching through articles that were written in 2022 and never updated.

That problem is small. It happens millions of times a year.

What we do

We maintain structured, verified answers to the questions this fandom actually asks — where the source material picks up, where something legally streams, what order to watch a franchise in, what's worth your time this season. Every answer is a database row with a source and a date, not an article someone wrote once.

What we don't do

We don't host episodes. We don't link to scanlation sites or piracy aggregators. We don't run a forum — Reddit and Discord already do that better than we ever would. We don't use AI-generated art. And we don't take money to change what an entry says.

Who runs it

A person, plus a set of automated processes that do the checking a person couldn't keep up with. Every automated change is reviewed against a second independent source before it publishes, and anything the sources disagree on says so publicly.
